Today, at the Turkmen-Afghan border, a ceremonial opening of the 177-meter railway bridge of the Serhetabat-Turgundi steel highway took place, reports TDH.

The ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Acting Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Afghanistan Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.

This bridge will become an important link in the transport infrastructure of the region, contributing to the strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.
