President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the second "Central Asia – Germany" summit, emphasized that the priority of cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Federal Republic of Germany is the economy.
He expressed confidence that this area should become the driving force of their relations, ensuring strong and sustainable positions for German businesses in the region and facilitating the swift and effective integration of Central Asia into global economic and investment processes through connections with German companies. This economic, trade, and investment cooperation benefits all participants and has good prospects for development and expansion.
Key areas of partnership highlighted by the President include transport and logistics, communication, energy, industrial production, the chemical industry, engineering, medicine and pharmaceuticals, the agro-industrial complex, and IT developments.
Berdimuhamedov stressed the need for new methods of joint business based on modern requirements, where the role of intelligence, advanced management, and the use of human resources, particularly the young and educated population of Central Asia, is increasing.
He also pointed out the potential for establishing joint productions, service and training centers, and organizing the training of highly qualified specialists in the region.
The President concluded by highlighting the enormous prospects for economic cooperation between Central Asia and Germany, given the region's advantageous geographical location, rich natural resources, significant demographic potential, and Germany's industrial and technological level, experience, and established international business partnerships.
