In this regard, the information and communication base of all sectors of the country's economy is being strengthened, a phased transition of enterprises and organizations to the digital economy is being ensured, and their material and technical base is being modernized. In the context of the development of the digital economy, work is underway to involve leading domestic and international experts in this process, and to improve the system of training high-level specialists.
As noted in the speeches of the conference participants, the widespread introduction of energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies in the sector of the national economy is a priority task of the national programs of socio-economic development of the country.

At the same time, it should be noted that there is a need to coordinate digital technologies and "green" initiatives.
A successful example of this is the city of Arkadag, built thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. During the construction of this city, the concept of a "smart city" and an approach to ensuring zero environmental damage were implemented at all stages, from the production of building materials to the commissioning of facilities.
As part of the ongoing work in the country on the transition to a "green" economy, measures are being implemented to develop and use eco-innovations, switch to environmentally friendly vehicles, and improve energy efficiency.
The growth of scientific and technical potential of Turkmenistan comprehensively contributes to ensuring environmental well-being. Resource-saving technologies are being widely introduced in all sectors of the national economy, steps are being taken to improve air quality control, achieve compliance of plants, factories and other facilities under construction with environmental standards and requirements.
The transition to a "green" economy in the country will be carried out in such areas as the systematic use of natural resources, high-yielding and sustainable development of agriculture, increasing energy efficiency, waste management of life products, and ecosystem conservation.
As a result of extensive international cooperation and investment policy initiated by Hero Arkadag and successfully implemented under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, the country's economic power is being strengthened, appropriate transport, communication and engineering infrastructure are being created.
This strategy provides for the comprehensive modernization and diversification of the spheres of the national economy, the active introduction of high technologies. Work continues on the development of industries based on advanced technologies and know-how, providing for further expansion of competitive production.
The digital economy is strengthening its position in the world as an important driving force for innovation, competitiveness and economic development. In addition, the transition to the digital economy helps to reduce costs both in production and in the service sector, and quickly adapt to trends in global markets. Based on the availability of data and technology, the digital economy opens up great opportunities for new areas of interaction.
As part of the work carried out in the country in this direction, much attention is paid to the development of the electronic industry, the widespread introduction of the latest information and communication technologies in all sectors.
