On October 14, a briefing was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the International Forum "Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development".

The event was attended by the heads of the country's foreign policy department, as well as the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, and the media.

The initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to scientifically study and popularize the literary heritage of the great poet Magtymguly Pyragy around the world are currently being successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

A vivid confirmation of this is the high representative composition of the international forum held in the capital under the chairmanship of the head of the Turkmen state.

As noted, the humanistic views of the poet and thinker are based on the principles of mutual respect, good neighborliness, and trust. They form the basis of our state's foreign policy and serve to strengthen friendship and brotherhood in the world.

Independent neutral Turkmenistan promotes peaceful principles and initiatives for the benefit of all humanity at the global level - within the framework of international organizations.

In this regard, the consistent efforts of the Motherland to strengthen peace through dialogue and trust are recognized by the international community. Turkmenistan's cooperation with the UN is evidence of our country's commitment to these principles.

At the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly adopted a number of resolutions, including the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. The adoption of this important document further strengthened Turkmenistan's position in the international arena as a peace-loving country.
