The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, E. Aydogdiyev, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Turkmenistan, Ricardo Martinez Vasquez, who is based in Moscow. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Embassy in the Russian Federation.

The Spanish ambassador was briefed on the main directions of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy, whose unchanged priority has been and remains broad international cooperation in the interests of peace.

The diplomats discussed the possibilities of developing a political-diplomatic dialogue, noting the positive experience of cooperation in international and regional formats, primarily within the framework of the UN.

The importance of holding political consultations at the level of the foreign ministers of the two countries was also emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working contacts.
