In accordance with the “Concept for the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025” and in order to meet the needs of the population for rail transportation through the websites of the Türkmendemiryоllary agency and the Demirýollary Open Joint Stock Company from anywhere in our country, online shopping services electronic tickets are fully operational during the day and night. In January 2024, 79 percent of total passenger tickets sold were sold “online” through mobile applications.
