President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to Alexander Lukashenko on his re-election as President of the Republic of Belarus, TDH reports.

In the letter, the head of state noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of bilateral cooperation with Belarus, which is traditionally based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust.

“I am deeply convinced that under your wise and far-sighted leadership, the Republic of Belarus will achieve even greater success, and our interstate relations will reach a qualitatively new level,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

I wished the President of Turkmenistan Alexander Lukashenko good health, well-being and new successes in responsible state activities in the name of a happy life and prosperity of all Belarusian people.

The main day of the presidential elections in Belarus was held on Sunday, January 26. According to the Central Election Commission, the current head of state Alexander Lukashenko is gaining 86.82% of the votes.
