Relations between Turkmenistan and China maintain stable dynamics, constantly deepening in various areas. This was stated by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in a letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the Novruz holiday, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan writes.

"I have the honor to express my sincere gratitude to you for your congratulatory message on the occasion of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Allow me, on behalf of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese people, to express to you, the Government and the people of Turkmenistan, sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. At present, Chinese-Turkmen relations maintain a stable development momentum, cooperation within the framework of the joint construction of the "One Belt - One Road" continues to advance, and interaction in various areas is constantly deepening," the statement said.

The PRC Chairman noted that he pays great attention to the development of Chinese-Turkmen relations and is ready to maintain good working relations with the head of Turkmenistan, “to advance mutual cooperation hand in hand in all areas in order to fill the construction of the Community of Shared Future of China and Turkmenistan with new content.”

Xi Jinping also sent a congratulatory letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In it, he recalled the visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty to China in October 2023 to participate in the "One Belt - One Road" Forum for International Cooperation.

"We had a warm conversation about the traditional friendship between China and Turkmenistan, held an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral partnership in various fields, and reached mutual understanding. It is gratifying to note that our agreements have been successfully implemented, and cooperation in all areas is yielding positive results," Xi Jinping wrote.
