Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed the projects of facilities planned for construction in the new city and held a working meeting with relevant officials, TDH reports.

The main focus was on the architectural appearance and national character of the planned facilities, including parks, sports complexes, and transport infrastructure.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid special attention to the creation of a Children's Park and an amphitheater, emphasizing the need to preserve national traditions while meeting modern aesthetic standards.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty gave specific instructions on the decorative design of buildings, highlighting the importance of using traditional Turkmen architectural techniques and materials.

A significant part of the inspection was dedicated to the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex. The National Leader of the Turkmen people instructed that special attention be given to the proportionality of the horses and the precise replication of their appearance in sculptures. The figures placed along the perimeter should reflect the Turkmen people's deep admiration for the world-renowned Akhal-Teke horses.

The urban development concept of the new city aims to create a comfortable environment while preserving national identity. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov particularly emphasized the necessity of equipping the city with bicycle paths and horse-riding trails that meet international standards.

Following the visit, a working meeting was held with the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, and the Mayor of Arkadag, G. Mammedova.
