Turkmenistan and Russia discussed issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation

Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, met with Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Inna Svyatenko, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children”.

The parties discussed issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the significant role of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care in strengthening traditional ties of friendship and in providing humanitarian aid to various countries around the world. In particular, the importance of humanitarian aid provided by the Foundation to children affected by the natural disaster in Primorsky Krai of Russia was emphasized.

Having highly appreciated the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, Inna Svyatenko expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to exchange views on the large-scale activities of the Charitable Foundation, which enjoys great authority not only in the region, but also throughout the world, TDH reports.
