A working visit of the Turkmen delegation led by Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova to Uzbekistan has begun. This is reported on the website of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen delegation is taking part in the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (UIP), which is taking place in Tashkent from April 5 to 9.

The forum is attended by parliamentarians from almost 140 countries, as well as members of delegations from 50 international organizations.

Following the results of the forum, the Tashkent Declaration is expected to be adopted, reflecting the consolidated position of the participating countries on key issues of international cooperation.
