Large-scale construction of educational, medical, and infrastructure facilities continues in Turkmenistan

Intensive construction of new buildings and complexes in the education, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors continues in the capital and regions of Turkmenistan. New buildings for the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering are being erected in Ashgabat, and the buildings of the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute are being built in Turkmenabat. At the same time, construction continues on international oncology and pediatric centers, dental clinics, and an additional 400-bed building at the “Archman” Sanatorium.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) that new facilities are planned for the near future, including a multidisciplinary clinic at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University, new buildings at the Indira Gandhi Ashgabat Medical School, and multidisciplinary hospitals in the capital and in Tejen (Ahal Province). Furthermore, international oncology centers will be built in Mary, Balkan, and Lebap, and a maternal and child health center will be built in Dashoguz.

Construction of strategically important highways, including the bridge across the Karabogazköl salt lake, also continues. The opening of a section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway, specifically the Mary-Turkmenabat segment, is planned for the near future.
