Turkmenistan's Ahal velayat and Iran's North Khorasan province plan to expand cooperation. Yesterday, a meeting with Bahman Nuri, Governor of Iran's North Khorasan province, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Gurbanov.

During the talks, mutual interest was expressed in intensifying cooperation between the Ahal velayat and North Khorasan province, in accordance with the previously signed Memorandum, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.

The parties discussed in detail the development and expansion of this cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. In this regard, proposals were put forward aimed at expanding interaction in promising and mutually beneficial areas.

Within the framework of the Iranian delegation's visit to Ashgabat, a series of meetings are planned between the governor of North Khorasan province and the leadership of the Ahal velayat and relevant ministries and agencies, the source notes.
