The agency "Turkmensvyaz" has offered German companies several new directions for establishing cooperation and investment. Among them: creation of a Data center, construction of joint ventures for the production of fiber-optic cable and server equipment, projects for the development of IT services and management systems for smart cities, modernization and introduction of the latest wireless communication technologies in the Ashgabat City Telephone Network CJSC, training and professional development of industry specialists. The laying of a fiber-optic communication system across the Caspian Sea, in the direction of Europe, is named among the promising areas for the participation of German business. The proposals were announced during the Turkmen-German business forum held in Berlin. It was noted that there are currently 8 interstate fiber-optic information transmission routes in Turkmenistan. In the last three years alone, the total capacity of international Internet channels purchased has increased tenfold. And therefore, today it is urgent to increase the transit capacity of traffic and expand the main transport and communication network. Chairman of the Agency "Turkmensvyaz" Hajimurad Hudayguliyev invited German companies to participate in the international exhibition and conference "Turkmentel-2023", which will be held on November 9-10, 2023 in Ashgabat. At the Berlin Business Forum, he also held meetings and negotiations with representatives of German telecommunications companies.
