The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic, Toyla Komekov, met with the head of the FAO Human Resources Department, Serge Nakuzi, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.

The Turkmen Ambassador positively assessed the activities of the Organization and expressed Turkmenistan's intention to develop effective cooperation with it.

Also, a separate topic for discussion was the issue of internships for representatives of Turkmenistan in various fields of FAO, training qualified personnel in the field of agriculture, climate change, water resources management and combating desertification.
