The annual celebration of Ashgabat City Day on May 25 is one of the joyful events for the residents of the Turkmen capital. It has become a good tradition to hold an international exhibition in honor of this holiday, which is a symbol of the boundless love of happy citizens for a beautiful city and allows them to demonstrate the grandiose achievements of the capital of our Motherland. All the current events dedicated to the Day of the City of Ashgabat are of particular importance.

The XXIII universal international exhibition "Ak şäherim Aşgabat" will clearly demonstrate the successes of the Turkmen capital in the field of urban planning and the potential for further development of Ashgabat, as well as priority areas of cooperation in this area.

Ashgabat, the capital of an independent, neutral Homeland, is a wonderful showcase of the large-scale successes of the whole country. As a result of the successful implementation of urban planning and architectural programs initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honored architect Hero Arkadag, Ashgabat was recognized as the "Shining Pearl of Asia" and became one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities in the world.

Currently, a lot of work is underway to modernize our beautiful capital and turn it into a blooming oasis, build new residential complexes, upgrade existing engineering and technical systems, and develop road transport infrastructure.

Our wonderful capital is becoming more and more beautiful with the construction of new structures with unique architecture and fashionable buildings. Accordingly, the implementation of original solutions, including digital technologies, engineering developments, is becoming increasingly important.

The numerous internationally recognized buildings, distinguished by their national flavor and embodying historical and cultural values, are an indisputable confirmation that our capital is increasingly becoming one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This is evidenced by the fact that individual objects with different original architecture are included in the Guinness Book of Records.

The inclusion of our capital Ashgabat by the structure of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities through the "Design" line is one of the most encouraging events.

Dear people!

This year, program measures are being implemented to solemnly celebrate at the international level the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtumguly Pragy, the great thinker and classic poet of the East. A peculiar start of the upcoming large-scale celebrations in honor of the classic poet was the opening of the monument to Magtumguly Pragy and the cultural and park complex "Magtumguly Pragy" with sculptures of famous personalities, prominent writers and masters of the word of foreign countries in the southern corner of the capital.

Landscaping of the surroundings of this modern complex is carried out in accordance with modern architectural solutions, and engineering and road transport structures, lighting system create a unified harmony.

Also in the year of the "Storehouse of the Mind of Magtumguly Pragy", we aim to open and commission a number of large industrial and social facilities throughout the country, including in the city of Ashgabat, as well as laying the foundations of new buildings.

The structures that will be erected in the capital in the newest historical era, modern residential buildings will not only further decorate our white marble capital, they will improve the social and living conditions of citizens, providing a wide range of high-quality social services provided to the people, which is also of great importance.

Accordingly, we will carry out the necessary work to further accelerate the development and improvement of our capital. I firmly believe that beautiful Ashgabat will become an exemplary center of progress and prosperity.
